When I think about the care we give, and the patients we serve, I am reminded of the stories. The reason why I care about what we do is that it goes far beyond the physical body healing.
Recently, we had a patient that transferred to us after multiple stays at hospitals and a short stay at a Long Term Acute Care hospital. He’s been married for 63 years to his adoring wife, who suffers from her health issues. After 90+ days with us, we were able to discharge him back to the assisted living reunited with the love of his life. The true mission of our work is to leave people better then we found them.
