The theme for NSNCW this year is “Celebrating Life’s Stories,” so we want to share some residents’ stories throughout the week.  Each day this week, we’ll be highlighting a patient/resident at our center.

Mr. Milner
Day 1

Mr. Milner grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. He graduated high school from S.R. Butler and then went on to complete two years of college at Calhoun Junior College.

His first job was at Winn Dixie as a Store Clerk. He worked there for six years. After that, he worked at WAAY TV. He was an engineer there for 12 years. Ron said, “it was a fun place to work; there was something different every day.” He then moved to Alexandria, VA, with his parents because he wanted to be closer to their family.

Some of his hobbies include reading, sports, bicycling, riding his Yamaha 500 motorcycle, fishing, and watching football. His favorite teams are Alabama and the Dallas Cowboys.
