Patient Testimonial: Mr. Hanshaw

At Dulles Health & Rehab Center, we exist to provide the most caring, compassionate, and complete rehabilitation we can. We care about what we do and strive to have that care reflected in our daily interactions. We are responsive to the needs of our patients, residents, their families, and our dedicated staff, practicing continuous improvement in the pursuit of excellence. We’re able to do this by the testimonials that our patients and family members leave us. Providing the best care is not just because it’s our job but also because it’s our calling.

We receive warm, wonderful testimonials from former patients, their families, and friends almost every day. We thank them for taking the time to praise the excellent care they received, for telling us about their recovery, and for sharing their experience with us, which we, in turn, share with you here.

Recently, we received this wonderful testimonial from Mr. Hanshaw, who wanted to thank our employees & staff for everything we do.  Here is what he said:

I came to Dulles Health and Rehab Center after having elbow surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Unfortunately, I was admitted to Dulles with bad health. However, after speaking with Kristin and Diana, in admission, I felt confident Dulles Health and Rehab Center was a good facility to come to while I recovered.

Fun Fact: I worked as a contractor back in 2016 and helped build the kitchen at Dulles! I enjoyed the food and getting to eat in the dining room with my roommate. Dulles had a great activities program, and I liked joining the activities especially going on outings.

Therapy was great, and they worked with me on getting my strength back. Everyone at Dulles Health and Rehab Center is very friendly. Everybody knew me by name, and I was always greeted with a smile. Leslie, the Administrator, always stopped to say hello when she saw me in the hallways. You can tell the employees mirror her Leadership. Overall, my stay at Dulles Health and Rehab Center was not only helpful to my recovery but a positive experience!
