Tori Unterberger
Activities Assistant

I am working on getting my Master’s degree in Arts Management at George Mason University. I am a dance teacher at Ordway Conservatory of Classical Ballet to students ages 3 to 18. I am also a dancer myself at Next Reflex Dance Collective, a contemporary dance company. I enjoy hiking, traveling during my free time, and love spending time with my new kitten, Phoebe. I have picked up a new hobby of baking, which I love baking desserts for the office.

I started working at Dulles Health and Rehab Center in March 2020, right when the COVID pandemic began. I have learned that everyone deserves compassion at any stage in their life. The staff at Dulles is extremely uplifting, especially on our hard days. My favorite activity with the residents is our outings, such as the Cherry Blossom Festival and the Dinosaur Drive-thru. I love connecting with our residents on a 1:1 level.

Ever since I started working at Dulles Health & Rehab Center, I overcame my fear of talking to people comfortably from the get-go.  I hope to grow in Dulles following finishing my Master’s degree.
