My sister has been at Dulles Health and Rehab for several years due to health issues. Her body needs therapy, but her mind is spot on. At Dulles, they encourage and implement many great activities and outings to keep the residents involved and their brains stimulated. It seems like there are daily/weekly events with hands-on crafts, celebrating National Days (National Taco Day, etc.), trips to the movies, and just lately, they had a pumpkin carving contest. This past summer, they created “virtual trips” to different countries—Greece, Italy, and Jamaica, to name a few. The food, music, decorations all correlated to the country they were highlighting. A lot of fun!
The staff personnel are very involved and focused on making the residents feel part of a team/family. They truly care. When we visit, the staff is so, so nice and welcoming. It’s a pleasant atmosphere and the facility, inside and outside, is clean and well kept. I can highly recommend Dulles Health and Rehab Center as a great facility to care for a loved one.
