COVID-19 Update: October 13th, 2021

Dear Patients and Families:

I am writing to share news that a staff member and a patient have tested positive for COVID-19.  The staff member will remain at home in quarantine until CDC return to work criteria are satisfied.  Both are asymptomatic and were fully vaccinated. The patient has been placed on transmission-based precautions and relocated to the “hot unit” in the Center.  All patients and staff have been tested and there are no additional positive results at this time.  We continue to monitor all patients closely for signs and symptoms of the virus.  We are also continuing to conduct outbreak testing for all patients and staff twice per week until the Center goes 14 days without a new positive test result.

As always please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Leslie Ruffner, L.N.H.A.
