A Place To Eat At Lanier

Lanier Middle School is now offering a new food pantry and weekend food bag program available to our students. The program is called A Place to Eat at Lanier and is a partnership between Lanier Middle School, A Place to Stand, BritePaths and Food for Others.

Listed below is some information on the new program:

  • The food program will provide weekend bags with non-perishable food to assist them when food is not consistently available at home.
  • The program began March 1 and will continue throughout the school year.
  • There is no cost for students to participate in the program. Parents, business leaders, friends, and neighbors are all needed to make our food program at Lanier a success.   For your shopping convenience, we have created an Amazon Wish List,https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/26X6H4D893OK7?ref_=wl_share
  • Our most needed food items:Individual Cereal Boxes
    • Cereal, Breakfast, Granola Bars
    • Instant Oatmeal
    • Microwaveable pasta cups (example: Chef Boyardee)
    • Easy Mac & Cheese Packets or Cups
    • Cup of Soup (not spicy)
    • Cups of Noodle Soup
    • Fruit Cups/small cans (no soft tops please)
    • Fruit snacks/leathers
    • Tuna Fish
    • Peanut butter (individual To Go cups)
    • Small stack crackers (example Club, Ritz)
    • Shelf-stable milk (individual serving)

To help with this program, Dulles Health & Rehab Center will be collecting items to be donated for this cause.  If you’re interested in donating food, please stop by our facility to drop off your items.  For any questions, please contact our Director of Admissions, Samantha Schaffer, at sschaffer@dulles-rehab.com
