Join us in celebrating National Skilled Nursing Care Week, established by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living, from May 13-19th. Started in 1967, National Skilled Nursing Care Week recognizes skilled nursing facilities in caring for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
The 2018 theme is “Celebrating Life’s Stories”, which is a remembrance of the most significant events & experiences that shape the unique perspectives in long-term care. Furthermore, it pays homage to the diverse set of perspectives that residents, families, and staff bring to everyday interactions.
For that reason, we’ll be sharing some resident stories throughout the week. These stories will tell who our residents/patients are and, above all, how awesome they are. As a result, we’ll be able to further learn about our patients/ residents and their experiences! Check back, each day, as we highlight a patient/resident at our center.
